CommunioN { millinery } (hat design) is a hat, headpiece and fascinator collection that focuses on above the neck . Each product is blocked, constructed and trimmed in house. CommunioN { millinery } is a collection label under the parent company HAIRSTON Atelier, Inc.  Atelier {at-tulle-lee-yey} means studio and/or workshop.  HAIRSTON Atelier is a design studio that has no limits on the products designed and produced in house.  HAIRSTON Atelier consistently produces a variety of collections that constantly focus on quality, craftsmanship and customization.  We  start each product off with the initial inspiration, to the design, to the actual production in house.  The experience is not for everyone but for the ones that do take this avenue will never forget it.

Nicholle Jones

Was born in Columbus Ohio where the late Louise Revels (grandmother) inspired and sparked Nicholle’s flame for the art of clothing design/creation.  Nicholle obtain her bachelor degree in Textile and Clothing from The Ohio State University.  Upon this tenure she did her internship in New York for Donna Karan Intl. working in the design department, where she dyed fabric and sourced inspiration for clothing designs.  Her stint in New York is where she enhanced her knowledge of  fabric, color and  aesthetics.  Expanding her design world, Nicholle went on to work in the costume department for the premiere ballet company in central, Ohio, BalletMet.  Continuing to become a well rounded designer, her works led to freelancing for Victoria’s Secret.  Nicholle is in all sense of the word a designer.
